Temirzhan Yerzhanov, an American musician hailing from Kazakhstan, launched his international career by winning the Gold Medal at the International Robert Schumann Piano Competition in Zwickau, Germany, and now continues performing also as an emerging conductor.
Yerzhanov has toured in Germany, Russia, France, Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic, USA, United Kingdom, China, India and Brazil. He has been featured on piano with many orchestras including Moscow Radio Tchaikovsky Symphony, Zwickau Philharmonishes Orchester, Sacramento Philharmonic, Vogtland Philharmonie, and The Symphony Orchestra of India. He has appeared in prestigious venues such as London Wigmore Hall, Berlin Konzerthaus, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Dresden Sempergalerie, Paris Salle Gaveau, Moscow Conservatory and St. Petersburg Philharmonic Grand Halls, to mention just a few.
St. Paul's welcomes Yerzhanov back to its Concert Series, where he presents Mozart’s "Fantasy in D minor K397", Schumann’s "Carnival Op. 9", Grieg’s "From Holberg's Times Op. 40", and Chopin’s "Ballade no. 4 Op. 52". St. Paul’s is pleased to present this performance in our Concert Series.
