"A bright young singer and guitarist with an ear for music of both folkloric and pop intention" by The New York Times, Chilean artist Camila Meza has brought a fresh new sound to the jazz scene, writing songs crossing genres in both English and Spanish, and infusing material from a diverse range of composers with vibrant energy and delightful effervescence. Absorbing the jazz-fusion records of her brother and a generous dose of 70s rock, Meza began singing and songwriting in high school while developing a passion for guitar and the playing of Pat Metheny and George Benson. She set off on her career's path at 19 and recorded her 2007 debut Skylark at 22, touring the country before making her new home in New York, where she studied with masters including Vic Juris and Gil Goldstein.

"A bright young singer and guitarist with an ear for music of both folkloric and pop intention" (NY Times) performs with her 8-piece Nectar Orchestra.
