CONCERT PROGRAM “Three Continents”
"Three Continents" are represented in this program music because of the locations where the composers were born, lived, or composed the concert program music pieces: Europe (Germany and Italy), Russian - Asian 1870s Empire, or North America (USA). The Saratoga Symphony website (www.saratogasymphony.com) has a poster that lists the music concert program pieces.
This concert program includes a piano concerto with Bay Area soloist Ron Brickman and a premiere performance piece for string orchestra, written by a local composer. Conductor Dr. Jason Klein talks to the audience about each music piece before it is performed to add concert pleasure.
