The Salon series sponsored by KDFC Classical Radio, is San Francisco Performances' longest-running alternative concert series and creates a convivial atmosphere to hear and learn from artists as they share their music, the love of their craft and their own stories about their careers. The series is reminiscent of the days when artists performed in intimate spaces for a small group of friends and provides an insider perspective and occasional sneak preview of artists' personal reflections and works in progress.
Jazz man Edward Simon plays the third of the four-concert series with a piano solo program featuring a variety of composers and jazz improvisations.
