WHAT'S COOL ABOUT THIS EVENING OF CHAMBER MUSIC:
This concert is extra special: to invite you into the concert halls, select performances during the fall semester (like this one) are expertly filmed and feature special intermission content, including virtual artist meet-and-greets, composer interviews, and mini master-classes with top faculty. This program features a piece by acclaimed violist and composer Nokuthula Ngwenyama, a recipient of the Avery Fisher Career Grant.
Hear Dimitri Murrath, celebrated violist and Chair of the String and Piano Chamber department, and Ian Swenson, heralded violinist and Chair of the Violin Department, perform. SFCM students, alumni, and faculty perform side by side.
