The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of NACUSA will present seven chamber works of friendship, searching, beauty, and loss written by six of its members and performed by outstanding Bay Area musicians. The concert will be presented to a live audience on Saturday, April 1, 2023, 8:00pm, at the Center for New Music, 55 Taylor Street, San Francisco. The National Association of Composers, USA, is one of the oldest organizations devoted to the promotion and performance of American concert music. NACUSA was founded in 1933 by Henry Hadley, first conductor of the newly formed San Francisco Symphony after the 1906 Earthquake. The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of NACUSA was founded by Nancy Bloomer-Deussen and John Webber over twenty years ago. NACUSAsf has evolved into an active organization that produces four to six concerts a year.
