The Morrison Chamber Music Center of San Francisco State University’s College of Liberal and Creative Arts will partner with InterMusic SF to present an Affiliate Ensemble Showcase on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 3:00 PM, featuring performances by three ensembles: Brass Over Bridges, Curium Trio, and The Alaya Project. The concert will be presented in Knuth Hall in the College of Liberal & Creative Arts.
Artistic Director Cyrus Ginwala stated: “InterMusic and The Morrison share a common passion for the engagement of new and non-traditional audiences for small ensemble music in the Bay Area. We look forward to showcasing some of the brightest talent in our region.”
Pre-Concert Talk. Artistic Director Cyrus Ginwala, InterMusic SF Executive Director Cory Combs, and Rohan Krishnamurthy from The Alaya Project will participate in a pre-concert discussion on Sunday, February 9th at 2:00 PM in Knuth Hall (Room 132) in SF State’s Creative Arts Building, under the auspices of the Morrison Chamber Music Center. The pre-concert event is free and open to the public to observe. No tickets are required.
Residency Activity. In addition to its concert, Brass Over Bridges, Curium Trio and Alaya Project will conduct residency activities in the San Francisco State University School of Music, under the auspices of the Morrison Chamber Music Center during the spring 2020 semester
Tickets. Admission-Free tickets for the InterMusic SF Showcase concert will be available beginning January 20, 2020, through the Morrison Artists Series website, http://morrison.sfsu.edu, or through https://morrison.sfsu.edu/events/1129. Tickets may not be reserved by email or U.S. Mail. Reserved tickets may be printed at home, displayed on a smart phone or other device or picked up at the Box at Will Call on the day of the event. Box office hours are one hour prior to events.
