Presented by The Living Earth Show

Echoes is a spoken word chamber opera, is a meditation on, interrogation of, and ode to San Francisco: the magical, troubling, and overwhelmingly complicated place all these artists call home. Created by composer Danny Clay, The Living Earth Show, Kronos Quartet, and performer-poets from Youth Speaks – including director Sean San José, Ashley Smiley, Aimee Suzara, Michael Wayne Turner III, and Tassiana Willis – Echoes integrates elements of poetry, sound, and theater to explore and celebrate the vivid culture of San Francisco.

These performances (March 7, 6pm and 8:30pm) represent Day 2 of T.L.E.S.tival, a tenth anniversary celebration of the ferociously creative percussion-guitar duo The Living Earth Show (Travis Andrews and Andy Meyerson).
