Maurice Ravel's Chansons Madécasses, for baritone, flute, 'cello and piano; duets include the passionate love scene from Pagliacci and a wistful number from The Secret Garden. Arias from Gian-Carlo Menotti and Aaron Copland, Handel's Messiah, and art songs by Fauré, Schubert and Poulenc will be featured. An exotic treat will be award-winning 'cellist Angela Lee's performance of Soviet Georgian composer Sulkhan Tsintsadze's virtuosic Five Pieces for Violoncello & Piano. Pre-concert entertainment by favorite accordionist Sheri Mignano Crawford, and complimentary Jarvis Estate wine and snacks at intermission.
