Las Cafeteras have taken the music scene by storm with their infectious live performances and have crossed genre and musical borders. Their enthralling new production Hasta La Muerte is rooted in the indigenous Mexican practice of celebrating life and death, universally known as Dia De Los Muertos. In honoring the ancestors who came before us, Hasta La Muerte is a passionate, multi-dimensional performance filled with Zapateado, dance, song, altares y flores. Hasta La Muerte features original and new music from Las Cafeteras, as well as inspired interpretations of classical songs including “La Llorona,” “El Cascabel,” and “La Morena.”
With a traditional altar on stage alongside the mesmerizing beauty of Folklorico choreography the Hasta La Muerte show is a night of transcendent color and sound, a moving invitation to travel through time, rhythm, and memory.
Las Cafeteras is also excited to welcome Lupita Infante to the stage for this magical night of folklore, baile, memorias & celebrating legacy.
