Garrett + Moulton Dance Presents Premiere of "Roll Out"

Garrett + Moulton Productions will present live performances of a new work for 18 dancers commissioned by and to be performed at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (JCCSF) Pottruck Family Atrium November 4 and 5. The joyous, celebratory work will be the first live performance event to welcome the community back to the JCCSF and features music by Marc Mellits and will incorporate Garrett + Moulton’s signature ball passing and movement choir elements. Four performances will be given Thursday, November 4, at 11:30 am and 1:30 pm and Friday, November 5, at 12 and 3 pm and admission is free. For more information, visit www.garrettmoulton.org.

“Our November performances at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco are a gift to the community at a time when we all long for reconnection and energy,” say Janice Garrett and Charles Moulton, Artistic Directors of Garrett + Moulton Productions. “Our goal is to uplift, unite and inspire while reaffirming the inter-dependence of the human family and the joy of our collective experience.”

 

Garrett + Moulton Productions’ dancers for the performances include Amy Foley, Jaime Garcia Castilla, Nol Simonse, Juliann Witt, Ayana Yonesaka and an ensemble of 13 guest artists . These performances are made possible with the support of the California Arts Council, National Endowment for the Arts, San Francisco Grants for the Arts and generous individual donors.
