The 19th season of the Guest Concert Series at Dominican University of California continues on Sunday, November 17, with a performance by 2LOW in Angelico Concert Hall.
2LOW --a low-string duo of San Francisco Symphony musicians Assistant Principal cellist Amos Yang and bassist Charles Chandler -- are graduates of the Juilliard School. They will perform Jean Barrière Duo Sonata No. 10 in G major; J S Bach Viola da Gamba Sonata Nr.2 in D Major, BWV1028; Andrés Martin Synchronicity (2018) for Violoncello and Double Bass (commissioned by Richard Duke for 2LOW); Pierre Louis Hus-Desforges Grande Sonata for Cello and Double Bass, Op.3, No.3; and Rossini Duetto for Cello and Double Bass in D Major..
The Sunday concerts, sponsored by Dominican’s Department of Music, Dance and Performing Arts, start at 3 p.m. Free parking is available in the nearby Conlan Center lot off Grand Avenue in San Rafael.

Dominican students, faculty, and staff are admitted free with a valid University I.D.
All Guest Concert Series concerts are free to students under the age of 18 including middle school and elementary school children if accompanied and supervised by an adult. In addition, community college students with a valid I.D. and music and art teachers in grades K-12 will be admitted free of charge along with Dominican students, faculty, and staff with a valid I.D.
Single-event tickets, which are only available at the door 30 minutes prior to scheduled performances, are $20 for general admission and $17 for seniors over 60. Season subscription series tickets are $60, $50 for seniors over 60.
