Choral Artists of Carmel under the direction of Robin McKee Williams will present their winter concert on Sunday, December 22, from 3:00–4:30 p.m. at Church of the Wayfarer in Carmel.

The concert choral repertoire includes "Requiem" by Mack Wilberg, "Ubi Caritas" and "The Lake Isle" by Ola Gjeilo, and two excerpts from Thomas LaVoy’s "Endless."

The concert will feature several returning soloists and choral artists, including Kiril Havezov as the baritone soloist in Requiem. He has performed operatic roles in Europe and the U.S. and can also be heard at the West Bay Opera in Palo Alto. Anna Yelizarova, mezzo-soprano, will sing the mezzo solo in Requiem. Ms. Yelizarova has sung opera in Europe and in the U.S. Cora Frantz, soprano, returns from Baltimore, Maryland, to sing the solo in the excerpts from Endless. Also returning to sing with the choir are Krassen Karagiozov and Veronica Jensen, both back from recent singing engagements in Europe. In addition, Heather Green from Berlin will sing an original composition and Patrick Lord-Remmert from New York City will sing a Broadway musical selection.

David Dally’s Monterey Strings, including David Dally and Laura Burian, violins, Arlyn Knapic, viola, and Margie Dally, cello, will accompany the choir, along with Constantine Theodosian, double bass, Pamela Scholz, harp, Greg Bullock, percussion and glockenspiel, Robert McNamara, guitar, and George Peterson, pianist.

There is a suggested donation of $25. Tickets will be available at the door.
