In October 2005, in a spectacular outing this young Polish virtuoso shocked the Frederic Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, winning The Gold Medal (unanimously awarded; the Silver Medal was not granted) and Best Performance of the Mazurkas, the Polonaises and the Sonatas. Thus, he won every prize it was possible to win.
His coup in Warsaw electrified the musical world, and doors immediately opened for him at the most prestigious concert halls in London, Amsterdam, Moscow (with the Mariinsky Orchestra under Valery Gergiev), Munich, Brussels, Madrid, Tokyo, etc. His star has continued to rise. In 2014 he won the prestigious Gilmore Award, which includes $300,000 in cash.
Don’t miss his triumphant return!
