This charismatic Russian pianist, born to a family of musicians with direct links to Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff, ignited her U.S. career by winning the Gold Medal at the Van Cliburn Competition.
She tours regularly throughout Russia, Europe, the United States, Japan, South Africa and South Korea, performing with such orchestras as Tokyo’s NHK Symphony, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Orchestre National De Lyon and the Moscow Symphony. She is demand for her solo recitals and also performs with Renée Fleming, Kathleen Battle and cellist Sol Gabetta. She has performed in Carnegie Hall, 92nd Street Y, Lincoln Center, the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, La Scala in Milan and the Châtelet in Paris.
Vladislav Kern is a prize-winning young artist, trained in Moscow and at Juilliard, and is Olga Kern’s son.
