Pianist Soyeon Kate Lee returns with the bravura of Rachmaninoff’s Corelli Variations, reflective Chopin, and ethereal music by Pulitzer Prize winner Caroline Shaw in Camerata Pacifica’s November program. Diverse music by Emma O’Halloran, Joseph Schwantner, and Christopher Cerrone complete an eclectic picture as the incomparable percussionist Ji Hye Jung shows off the virtuosic voice of the concert marimba.
This program is also performed Sunday, November 13 at 3pm at the Museum of Ventura County in Ventura; Tuesday, November 15 at 7:30pm at The Huntington in San Marino; and Friday, November 18 at 7:30pm at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History.
