Frédéric Chopin’s turbulently beautiful Cello Sonata in G Minor anchors Camerata Pacifica’s October program, with cellist Jonathen Swensen (pictured) and pianist Soyeon Kate Lee. The LA Chamber Orchestra’s Principal Violist, Yura Lee, gives voice to the epic Kodály Cello Sonata in her own arrangement for viola, and she switches to violin for music by Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber. This program will also be performed at the Music Academy in Santa Barbara on Friday, October 21, at the Museum of Ventura County on Sunday, October 23, and at The Huntington in San Marino on Tuesday, October 25.
