Li Yanfeng, tenor, was born in Taiyuan in 1975. Visiting scholar at the Verdi Conservatory of Music in Milan, Italy. Member of the California Opera House Art Committee, Robert Welsh Distinguished Professor; Vice Chairman of the International Music Education Committee of the New York Opera Society; currently Vice Dean of the School of Music of Shanxi University, professor of the Department of Vocal Music and Opera, and master tutor. He is currently a member of the Chinese Musicians Association, a member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese Young Singer Academic Committee, a member of the preparatory group of the Returnee Art Festival Committee of the China European and American Students Association, honorary chairman of the Shanxi Provincial Pop Music Association, a director of the Shanxi Provincial Musicians Association, a member of the Standing Committee of the Shanxi Provincial Youth Federation, Deputy Director of Culture and Art Sector. In March 2008, in the 10th Osaka International Vocal Competition in Japan, he won the fourth place in the adult group and became the only Chinese player among the six winners. This is also the first native Shanxi trained to win an international vocal competition. Contestants are of milestone significance. From 2011 to 2019, as a Chinese singer recognized in Italy, he was invited by the Italian opera master and the professor of Milan Verdi Conservatory for nine consecutive years. He went to Italy to participate in many opera performances and is currently the only opera starring in Italy in Shanxi Native singer. Among them, in July 2013, he rehearsed Mozart's opera "Women's Heart" in San Marino, playing the tenor Ferrando; in July 2014, he performed the opera "Don Juan" in San Marino, playing the tenor Don Otavio.
