A Brass Over Bridges gala and concert with music exclusively by women, featuring a world premiere by San Francisco-based composer Julie Barwick.

Your attendance helps advance our mission to diversify the brass chamber music canon, and supports our ongoing endeavors in music education.

Featuring…

  • Our world premiere of Julie Barwick’s “Paths,” which is inspired by poems from SF Bay Area writers, including Randall Mann’s “The Long View."

  • A program advancing works by women in a 50-minute program with intermissions.

  • A silent auction with generous donations from: the House of Air, Walt Disney Family Museum, Urban Putt, YMCA Camp Jones Gulch, One Found Sound, Dashe Cellars, Mark Foehringer’s Dance Project and others.

  • Open bar with beer and wine for ages 21+, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages all included in your ticket price.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Concert begins at 7pm.

Proof of vaccination is required at the door, and masks are recommended at this event.
