Berkeley Symphony presents REAL Berkeley, a free online film series that celebrates the Rad, Edgy, Audacious, Loving scene that makes Berkeley such a special community.
Episode 1: Rad Women is inspired by the book Rad American Women A-Z by The New York Times best-selling author and Berkeley-native Kate Schatz. As our first guest curator, Schatz will introduce works of three prominent women composers: Tessellations by Bay Area-native Gabriella Smith, Meri Sakhi Ki Avaaz (My Sister's Voice) by Reena Esmail, and Clara Schumann’s Piano Trio.
