Pianist Ian Scarfe is the founder of the Trinity Alps Chamber Music Festival. He is a founding member of the Bay Area’s Vinifera Clarinet Trio and Switzerland’s Zurich Beethoven Trio. Among the groups Ian has helped form over the years are Florida’s Hogtown Chamber Music Festival, Portugal’s Festival Viana and Burgundy’s (FR) Festival Rolland. Ian has been a guest artist at Alaska’s Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival, Oregon’s Astoria Music Festival, and the Telluride Chamber Music Festival in Colorado.
