At Susie Fong Music Studio, we believe in tailoring music lessons to suit the interests and talents of each student so that they can achieve their individual musical goals. The studio offers personalized, relationship-based instruction to students ages 5 and up in note-reading, instrument technique, music theory, music history and general musicianship. Lessons encompass all styles of music, including classical, jazz, pop, and includes opportunities to learn to play lead sheets and song-writing.
Our music instructors work together in a collaborative teaching environment to continually share best practices as teachers, and exchange creative teaching tools and ideas to ensure that each student is supported and engaged in their music study. Traditional lessons are combined with educational activities, games, and technology to keep students motivated.
The studio offers private piano lessons to ensure that each student receives the individualized attention that will serve them either to pursue a career in music or to nurture a lifelong love and appreciation for it.

Beginning and intermediate piano students ages 5 and up are taught using a combination of either the Piano Adventures, Piano Safari, or Royal Conservatory of Music series and a variety of supplemental materials. For intermediate and advanced students, piano repertoire is selected from all periods of classical music as well as jazz and pop as suits their interests.
