I am a patient teacher that likes to teach piano/flute student that who actively schedules 30 mins practice time daily into their important school work and other extra-activities outside of school and/or on weekends. Secondly, it is essential for parents' support in their childrens' music learning. Music learning is research based that it greatly aides other areas of emotional and IQ learning (Math, English, social and other spectrum of arts.) Lastly, I interview students as well as parents what are their expected short and long term goals (learning just for fun, certificate/test based or starting with learning for fun and the progress to test based style upon teacher's discretion.
