I'm a pro French horn player, life-long learner, and founder of Modacity, a music practice platform that accelerates learning.
My music journey started at age 5 with piano, which I continued playing as I learned French horn, violin, cello, trumpet.
I can help you or your child learn faster & achieve meaningful goals while having more fun.
I studied cognitive science & computer science at Northwestern University, where I realized that there is a huge mismatch between what science knows and how most musicians practice.
I applied this knowledge at Indiana University, and within 2 years I won a full-time professional symphony job.
After 6 seasons with the Hong Kong Philharmonic, I started an international freelance career with groups like San Francisco Symphony & Florida Grand Opera.
I have taught everyone from children to professional orchestra musicians and pop pianists.
