Hello!

I started playing the oboe when I was 12 and it was just love from the first moment! I loved the rich, beautiful tone that an oboe produced and wished to produce that gorgeous sound myself. During high school, I played with the San Francisco Youth Orchestra and the Young People's Symphony Orchestra of Berkeley. I studied with Nancy Ambrose King at the University of Michigan, where I just graduated this year. Teaching has always been one of my main passions and I love to help students and teach them about the beauty of music. Music is an irreplaceable resource that makes a difference in your life, whether you choose to be a professional musician or not. Playing a unique instrument, such as the oboe, will take you places and you will be very highly valued in society!
