After
many years of performing, I opened Harps Etc., the only full service
harp store in California and began a full time teaching studio. I have
students of all ages and abilities from age 4 to their 80's.
I have
been fortunate to have students who have gone on to become professional
players. My goal is to take you to where you want to be on the harp.
Many of my students play for fun, with community orchestras, in our harp
ensembles and recitals.
I frequently bring in guest teachers for master classes and recitals to enrich your training.
I
am the National Coordinator for the Regional Directors of the American
Harp Society and sit on the National Board of Directors. In 2010 I was
asked to create a syllabus for the harp for the California Music
Teacher's Association and began the first Certificate of Merit Program
for the harp.
Other affiliations include the World Harp Congress, the International Folk Harp Society and Harp's Hall.
