Alex is an active member of the Bay Area professional musician community, performing tuba with a wide variety of ensembles. He is a proud member of the AFM Local 6 Musicians Union
Before moving to the SF Bay Area, Alex performed and taught brass throughout Tennessee, Virginia, and D.C.

Alex has released over 8 albums and recorded on hundreds of music tracks as the tubist for The Game Brass. They are a brass quintet arranging and performing music from video games since 2017. They have given panels and masterclasses throughout the US and have performed mainstage at the Music and Gaming Festival near Washington D.C. Alex has studied with notable teachers including R. Winston Morris, from Tennessee Tech University, Dr. Andrew Rummel from Illinois State University, and Atticus Hensley. He has performed with orchestras such as  the Nashville Symphony, Bryan Symphony Orchestra, Chattanooga Symphony, Richmond Symphony, Monterey Pops Orchestra, Foothill Symphonic Winds, the Bay Philharmonic, and more.
