YPSO is accepting audition applications for our upcoming season (23-24) in the following limited sections: trumpet, trombone, basstrombone, tuba, bassoon, oboe, viola, doublebass, and violin. Join us for an exciting season of 4 season concerts, the Bay Area Youth Orchestra Festival (BAYOF) at Davies Symphony Hall, and the tour to Japan! Submission of screening videos is due June 1. YPSO rehearses most Monday evenings at First Congregational Church of Oakland 6:00-9:30 p.m. There is also an annual weekend retreat in the Fall in Carmel Valley and several Saturday afternoon intensives during the year.
