Are you an experienced choral singer? After two long years of COVID-enforced silence, are you eager to make beautiful music with friends in a safe environment? Come audition to sing with Chora Nova! We rehearse Tuesday evenings in north Berkeley.
For our November concert, Artistic Director Paul Flight has chosen a spectacular all-Vivaldi program featuring the Gloria RV589 and Dixit Dominus, RV 807. Soloists and a full Baroque orchestra will join us for the performance. Programs for concerts in March and May TBA.
Auditions begin in late August, with Tuesday evening rehearsals starting in early September. To ensure everyone’s safety, all singers will be fully vaccinated and will abide with CDC/Alameda County masking recommendations for indoor gatherings. The rehearsal space will have ample ventilation, and we will have regular breaks for thorough clearing of the air.
