Pocket Opera announces auditions for its 2019 season. Operas this season include: Elixir of Love (Donizetti), Two Widows (Smetana), La Rondine (Puccini), The Tales of Hoffmann (Offenbach), Barber of Seville (Rossini). Auditions will be held September 14 and 15 (7-10pm). Prepare 2-3 arias--at least one aria MUST be in English. Pocket Opera performs its own English translations, and arias will be made available in our translation if you wish to present them.
Note: Barber of Seville is being presented as a coproduction with Cinnabar Theater, and many roles in this show are already cast.
