Audition requirements

Accompanied song—bring any song you enjoy singing (bring an accompaniment track, piano sheet music, or accompany yourself on guitar, ukulele, accordion, etc). Memorization preferred, even if you forget a few words. Don't try to impress us with your choice of song. We just want you to have the chance to sing something you already know and like.

Unaccompanied songThe Last Rose of Summer—download sheet music (single pdf contains versions for low, medium, and high voices) and do your best to learn on your own. Memorization is totally optional! We want to see how well you can prepare on your own outside of rehearsal, knowing full well that some singers won't prepare at all! Others will use this opportunity to show us they are ready to be assigned solos and small ensembles.

Sight singing—select from examples of varying difficulty. Don't worry about getting it perfect. Seeing how you recover from mistakes is an important part of the evaluation process.

Special skills (optional) Show us anything you're good at! Juggling, tap dancing, playing clarinet, speaking Ukrainian, baton twirling, lip synching, costume design, marketing, graphic design, motorcycle maintenance, etc.
