Join the Symphony San Jose Chorale!
Symphony San Jose Chorale are now auditioning new singers for our 37th season. Auditions are held through the year but for those participating in the Elfman/Burton concert the deadline is Aug. 30.
The Chorale, directed by Elena Sharkova, has become known in the Bay Area and beyond for its eclectic mix of concert programs: from choral-orchestral masterworks to contemporary, jazz, and folk-inspired compositions. As the chorus-in-residence for the recently renamed Symphony San Jose (https://www.symphonysanjose.org/) , the Chorale performs regularly with world-renowned vocal and instrumental soloists and conductors on stage of the historic California Theater in San Jose.
We are kicking off the 2022/2023 season and we are looking for talented new singers!
We have a very exciting season ahead of us, starting with Danny Elfman presenting his music of the films of Tim Burton in Stanford and ending with a performance of the fabulous Carmina Burana with the Symphony in June 2023.
Come join us and sing some glorious music in a welcoming and fun environment!
Rehearsals take place Tuesday evenings from 7-9.30pm, September through May at St Francis Episcopal Church, 1205 Pine Ave, San Jose CA 95125
Why hesitate, this could be your opportunity to change your life! Auditions start on the 30th August. Sign up for an audition here (https://www.symphonysanjose.org/chorale-auditions/)
