Come Sing With Us!
San Francisco-based Resound Ensemble is holding auditions for all voice parts, especially basses, on Wednesday, January 18th, 6:30-9:00 PM. Additional dates and times may also be available by request.
We are a 40 to 50-voice ensemble that is committed to an eclectic repertoire. We present a wide range of styles of choral music each season, from 15th century pieces to new works, accompanied and a cappella, based around a unifying theme.
We value community - we believe that it adds to our performance - and enjoy musical and non-musical activities together throughout each season. (Participation is encouraged, but not required!)
We also value the health and safety of our singers and staff. Masks are mandatory during rehearsals and all are required to be up-to-date on all COVID vaccinations, including booster(s), if eligible. In addition, our rehearsal spaces are optimized for maximum social distancing and air exchange. We continue to closely monitor local, state and federal guidelines, and will adjust precautions, as needed.
Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights, from 7:00-9:30, in a large space just off of 24th Street, in Noe Valley, easily accessible by BART, MUNI trains and buses. Parking within a two-block radius is also surprisingly easy.
