Do you love to sing? Join the LOPC Chancel Choir!

Do you love to sing? LOPC, located in Lafayette, is looking for volunteers to join our Chancel Choir! This is a great opportunity to learn music at a high level, join a friendly and welcoming community, and sing your heart out. The choir is supported by eight professional singers, making the volunteer experience fun and stress-free. We have approximately 65 members in the choir and counting, and you'll find everyone from experienced choral singers to those making their public singing debut.

Led by conductor Bryan Dunnewald, the Chancel Choir takes a music-first approach, resulting in refreshing rehearsals and inspiring performances. Rehearsals are fast-paced and brief (only 1.5 hours per week) and the schedule is consistent to make planning simple. We sing approximately three Sundays of every month.

LOPC is a welcoming and inclusive community, committed to diversity in all its forms. The Chancel Choir has members of many backgrounds; people of any/no religious affiliation are welcome and encouraged to join. Singing in the Chancel Choir is completely free.
