HIRING SINGERS FOR THE HOLIDAY CAROLERS!
Rate of Pay / Contract:
Carolers: $80-$100 1st hour, $40/$50 each additional hour, + Mileage after 15miles of City Hall + tips. Singers pay for their Victorian wardrobe (approx. $100-175). Production will work with you if money is tight. Only 1 or 2 gigs will cover the cost of the wardrobe.
The company pays for your wardrobe if the singer provides less than 4 conflicts during the entire season.

Carolers: All repertoire is memorized to provide the highest level of entertainment for our clients. Must be comfortable with a light script and banter. Must be able to learn the majority of the music on your own. Music and rehearsal tracks will be provided. Classically trained and/or chorus background a plus. A few conflicts are okay. Only profiles with singing reels/links will be considered. We are casting 3-4 quartets (12-15 singers SATB). There will be 6 unpaid mandatory rehearsals between Sept and November.
Roles:
[SAN FRANCISCO CAROLER] 18 to 65 years old, all ethnicities any gender. Excellent singer with a strong work ethic to learn our memorized music. Reliable, professional and good attitude. Must have a good ear and comfortable singing a cappella. Classically trained a plus. Must be comfortable with light crowd work/banter.
