As part of PBS's Great Performances, KQED-TV will once again repeat telecasts of San Francisco Opera's Porgy & Bess with Eric Owens Laquita Mitchell in the title roles, John DeMain conducting.
The schedule — ch. 9: Oct. 17 at 9 p.m. and Oct. 18 at 3 a.m.; ch. 10: Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 21 at 1 a.m.

- Oct. 24, “Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga: Cheek to Cheek LIVE!," concert from the stage of Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater at New York City’s Time Warner Center.
- Oct. 31, "Michael Feinstein at the Rainbow Room," Feinstein headlines a show with Christine Ebersole, Jessica Sanchez, the Manzari Brothers, June Squibb and others.
- Nov. 14, "Hitmakers," a documentary about the music industry’s resilience in the digital age, from the perspective of groundbreaking artists, music label mavericks, and game-changing managers. Interviews and performances with artists such as Melissa Etheridge, The Roots’ Questlove, Sharon Jones, DJ/producer Steve Aoki, and many more.
- Nov. 21, Cats (really), with Elaine Paige’s return to her original role as Grizabella.
- Nov. 28, "Kristin Chenoweth: Coming Home," to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, to perform music from Broadway, TV and films.
