Want to experience the nostalgia of an American small town 15 minutes away from San Francisco? Visit Brisbane, CA, a windy version of Sausalito tucked away between the Cow Palace and SFO airport. This "city of stars" (known for its annual holiday tradition of lighted stars) is home to a little-known concert series, "Live at Mission Blue."

Their upcoming concerts include some of historically-informed performance heavy-hitters Elizabeth Blumenstock (violin), Junhae Kim (harpsichord), and John Dornenburg (viola da gamba) in an evening of Masters of the Baroque (February 14).

The ever-popular Kitka will celebrate International Women's Day with eastern European folk songs (March 7), and The Lee Trio, a dynamic ensemble of sisters, will be joined by violist Jodi Levitz in a concert of Brahms and Dvorak (April 4). Each concert is preceded with a lecture at 7:30.
