Feasibility Study Eyes Museum of London Site as New Home for Symphony

A six-month feasibility study has concluded that a new home for the London Symphony Orchestra should be built on the site of the Museum of London, adding the project would cost around $414 million, the Guardian reports.

The 250-page report, commissioned by the government in February, finds the city is “at real risk of falling behind other major cities with the proliferation of outstanding new 21st-century halls in cities across the world.”
