We can’t pretend at SFCV that we have any expertise when it comes to video games or the music thereof. But given the number of orchestras (at least five or six) that have recorded versions of the Super Mario Bros. theme song, and that somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 million households worldwide own the game, we figured it’s time to get acquainted with some of this music. So here, subject to correction and amplification by any 10- to 40-year-old with expertise, is a set of music to some of the most popular video games ever.
