Ryan Stohs

Ryan Stohs has lived the majority of his life with a pair of drumsticks
in his hands: starting in 1985 with drum set lessons, through 12 years
of drum corps, into the percussion program at San Jose State University,
and on to teaching, writing, and performing all across the country.
Ryan
has experience performing with all styles of musical groups, from duos
and trios to orchestras and drum corps. He has a passion for musical
theatre and has most recently been the drummer for all of the musicals

Bruce Loeb

Bruce Loeb is an experienced teacher and performer who offers piano lessons that develop musicianship, sight-reading and technique.

Learning how to produce a beautiful tone allows you to hear music better and to develop the ability to play with presence and a sense of being centered in your whole body.

with Opera Santa Barbara's innovative education outreach program, The

Debora Carreiro

Professional Music Educator (excellent references) with almost 20 years
of experience , ages 4 1/2 and up. Seniors are welcomed. No need to drive
to a studio, you save time and on gas. I specialize in working with
beginners and truly help students,helping them to discover how to feel
comfortable at the piano,develop good reading and listening skills,learn
how to practice, and understand some theoretical aspects of

Young Women's Chorus

The Young Women’s Chorus of San Francisco is YWCP’s premiere performing ensemble and is comprised of singers who exhibit excellent vocal technique and musicianship skills. YWC sings challenging choral music for women’s voices, emphasizing classical compositions from all eras, and including world music, jazz and Broadway selections. All Things Strings

A week of string music fun, developing good string techniques while enjoying daily workshops in playing styles (jazz, baroque, etc), a chance to compose a piece, and a great study unit on Mozart! Camp ends with a short performance on Friday, August 17.

The San Jose Chamber Orchestra is a professional string orchestra focused on presenting high-quality chamber orchestra repertoire. SJCO continues to champion a variety of living composers alongside more familiar classical works. Teacher Barbara Day Turner is the founder and Musical Director at SJCO.

Adam Cockerham

Classical guitarist & lutenist, Adam Cockerham, was a finalist in
the Carmel Society Instrumental Competition where his performance was
regarded as being "beautifully and effortlessly executed" by Peninsula
Reviews. He recently performed alongside such guitar luminaries as
Sergio Assad, David Tanenbaum, Marc Teicholz, Lawrence Ferrara, &
Peppindo D'Agustino in the world premiere performance of Assad's
"Wednesdays at Sugar."

Laura Simpson

I am an enthusiastic and creative person who truly enjoys sharing the
gift of music with a particular emphasis on the harp. I leave my
student after each lesson with technical and repertoire expectations.
Several of my students have gone on to entertain many different groups
as well as perform with orchestras in the North Bay.

Eric Kujawsky

 I am a
veteran music teacher in the public schools, with extensive musical
connections throughout the Bay Area. I have played and taught violin,
viola, clarinet and saxophone professionally in orchestras and jazz
bands. I educate the Whole Musician; I instruct in music reading,
instrumental technique and general music appreciation. I will come to

Diane Hidy

A graduate of the American Boychoir School and Westminster Choir College
of Princeton, New Jersey, Marco Antonio Melendez has been recognized as
an award winning singer and recording artist throughout the states of
Texas and New Jersey. Beginning his conducting and teacher career at
age fifteen, Melendez has lead choirs, taught seminars, and has been a
guest artist for churches and music programs throughout country.
