PROGRAM
tbd quartet and the Monteverdi Brass Quintet come together for an evening of Renaissance brass music and improvisations including the composers, Gesualdo, Byrd, LeJeune, Guarneri, Evans, and Strayhorn.
Information about jazz in the neighborhood, a non-profit founded by Mario Guarneri will also be available.

ARTIST PROFILES
The Monteverdi Brass Quintet performs early music on modern brass instruments. Comprised of professional musicians that perform throughout Northern California, the members of the group come together to share their passion for the music of the Renaissance. Monteverdi Brass has performed in San Francisco at the Noontime Concerts and Old First Concerts, as well as the Foothill series in San Jose and the One Night Only series at UC Santa Cruz
