Pacific Boychoir Academy continues to celebrate its Silver (25th) Anniversary with annual festive holiday performances. This year’s Harmonies of the Season concerts feature the “beautiful and serene work” of composer Morten Lauridsen and composer Ola Gjeilo, whose work “takes listeners on a journey of emotion and beauty”. The performance also includes favorite holiday carols, with an audience and alumni sing-along.
PBA Music Director Andrew Brown states, “Pacific Boychoir Academy strives to connect our young musicians to a deep profound experience of music in its highest practice. We seek cultural depth, individual respect and personal growth. Our greatest value is making our communities and world a richer place because of our existence. Our audiences are our most important partners to help us achieve our goals.”
The Saturday, December 16th performance will take place at 5:00 pm at First Congregational Church of Berkeley, located at 2345 Channing Way, Berkeley, CA.
The Sunday, December 17th performance will take place at 4:00 pm at St. Mary’s College Chapel, located at 1928 St. Mary’s Road, Moraga, CA.
