It has become a tradition for Chamber Music San Francisco to offer the Brandenburg Concertos on Mother’s Day weekend. But lovely as that tradition is, the great thing about this year’s performance is that the performers — the Archetti String Ensemble — are veterans of Philharmonia Baroque, American Bach Soloists, Musica Pacifica, and the Bay Area early music scene.
It’s an all-star lineup that Bach lovers won’t want to miss, not even for the traditional Mother’s Day spa treatment.
