This classical music birthday bash salutes the 200- and 100-year anniversaries of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, and will feature LIVE performances in both the SF Bay Area, and the mountains of Maestro Steiner’s native state of Graubünden, Switzerland. Founded in 1524, Graubünden celebrates this year its 500th anniversary, adding yet another birthday to this transatlantic party.

Performers from Graubünden, including renowned pianist Cinzia Regensburger, will join the celebration by introducing Bay Area audiences to folks songs sung in Romansh, a native language of the Swiss region. Other featured performers include Beethoven’s Ninth soloists: Jessica House Steward, Lauren Biglow, Meté Tasin, and Bradley Kynard.
